Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

This privacy notice for Avery Technology LLC (our United States entity) and its European affiliate Eagle Ventures Ltd (our European entity, registered in Ireland) (collectively “we”, “us”, or “our”) describes how and why we might collect, store, use, and/or share (“process”) your information when you use our services (“Services”), such as when you:

  • Visit our website at https://averyapp.ai, or any website of ours that links to this privacy notice
  • Engage with us in other related ways, including any sales, marketing, or events

1. What information do we collect?

Personal information you disclose to us

We collect personal information that you provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information, participate in activities, or otherwise contact us.

Personal information provided by you:

  • Financial information: connected account details and balances; transaction records where your workspace has consented to transaction storage; and invoices, receipts, vendor records or other information you choose to add to app features.
  • Email addresses
  • Billing addresses
  • Payment information (handled securely by our payment processors — see below)
  • Google account information (email, spreadsheet access)

Financial information can be sensitive. We process the financial records needed to provide the features you use, subject to your workspace settings and the applicable consent. Do not include information about other people unless you are authorised to provide it.

Payment data: The payment provider, price, currency and billing period applicable to your purchase are shown before you subscribe. Avery uses Stripe for app subscription checkout. Existing payment arrangements may use other providers, including GoCardless.

Financial records and connected tools

App workspaces store financial records to provide app features. Relay-only Google Sheets workspaces keep their bank transaction ledger in the spreadsheet: Avery processes those transactions to deliver them to Sheets without persisting them as app transaction records. Account details and balances are stored separately, including for relay-only workspaces. Moving a relay-only workspace to app transaction storage requires the applicable storage consent.

Your bank connection is authorised through the connection provider. Banking login credentials are distinct from the account, balance and transaction information made available to Avery. The information shared depends on the institution, account and permission you authorise.

When you enable an integration or invite a collaborator, the information they can access depends on that connection or the permissions you grant. Connected AI tools receive information made available through the connection you authorise and process it under their own terms and privacy policies. You can revoke an Avery MCP connection from the workspace key settings.

  • Consent
  • Performance of a Contract
  • Legal Obligations
  • Legitimate Interests
  • Vital Interests

4. When and with whom do we share your personal information?

5. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

We use cookies, local storage and similar technologies for essential functionality, preferences, analytics and, on applicable campaign pages, advertising measurement. Depending on the page and enabled configuration, these services may include Google Analytics or Tag Manager, PostHog, HubSpot and Meta. Advertising measurement can include browser events and server-side conversion events. Where required, non-essential processing is subject to consent.

  • Maintain platform security
  • Save user preferences
  • Improve usability and functionality

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect functionality. Where required by law, we obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies.

6. How long do we keep your information?

Retention depends on the type of record and the product you use. App financial records are retained to provide the service, handle your requests and meet applicable legal obligations. Subscription billing and payment records may be retained for up to seven years for tax and legal compliance; this does not mean relay-only bank transactions are stored for seven years. Contact support@averyapp.ai for a data access or deletion request and the retention details applicable to your workspace.

7. How do we keep your information safe?

We implement industry-standard organizational and technical safeguards. However, no digital transmission or storage can be guaranteed 100% secure.

International data transfers: Because we operate through both Avery Technology LLC (US) and Eagle Ventures Ltd (Ireland), your personal data may be transferred between the United States and the European Economic Area. Where such transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.

8. Do we collect information from minors?

No. Our services are not intended for individuals under 18. If we learn we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it.

Depending on your location, you may:

  • Access or correct your data
  • Request deletion
  • Withdraw consent
  • Object to processing
  • File a complaint with a regulator

To exercise these rights, email support@averyapp.ai.

10. Controls for do-not-track features

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. Currently, no standard exists for responding to DNT signals, so we do not respond to them at this time.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act, including: the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used; the right to request deletion of your personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share your data); and the right to non- discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
